FaithAction Care Teams

FaithAction, an interfaith organization based in Greensboro, is coordinating the long-term response of the religious community to helping victims of Katrina.

Care Teams will work over a period of weeks or months to help individual families. Members of Care Teams must be trained.FaithAction will begin training volunteer Care Teams from area churches, synagogues, temples, and mosques. All of the training will take place at West Market Street United Methodist Church in downtown Greensboro. Ideally, each member of a Care Team will go through the training, but it is essential that the Team Captain or Team Leader go through training.   *See this site's calendar of events for the specific training dates.

If you or your religious congregation wishes to help form a Care Team, please go to FaithAction's website to get a registration form. The website is www.faithaction.com.
